An ultrasonic cleaner is an instrument which generates high-frequency ultrasonic waves (20khz or 40khz) with the help of ultrasonic transducers to remove impurities from the material surface. How Ultrasonic Cleaner Works
An ultrasonic cleaner is a water bath type instrument which is fitted with ultrasonic transducers at the bottom and a microprocessor based temperature cum timer controller. Overall construction is made of stainless steel. Cleaning agent is filled in the ultrasonic cleaner tank and set the timer and temperature (if required). Material is kept in the basket in the tank. As soon as we start the timer, the instrument starts generating ultrasonic waves. You can see tiny bubbles and hear a loud buzzing noise. These tiny bubbles explodes at the material surface in such a way that impurities including grease, soil, carbon deposits, fungus, bacteria, wax, rust and oil, dirt and pigments remove from the material surface to make it clean. Temperature and timer are adjustable that can be adjusted by operator depending upon the impurity and the material type.
